Our Financial Services team regularly acts for some of Europe's leading financial, insurance and investment institutions.

We advise on regulatory matters encompassing the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 and related legislation (such as financial promotion) as well as the FSA rulebook. We assist clients in their dealings with the FSA including applications for registration with the FSA in order to undertake regulated activities as well providing advice on any enforcement issues.

We have extensive experience in advising clients involved in international projects on regulatory, product development and compliance issues including the interpretation of European Directives that affect European market entry either via Freedom of Services or through the setting up of a local branch. We have assisted numerous clients in bringing their products into European markets with particular emphasis on Germany.
